Mission To Champion Economic Prosperity for Our Members & the Greater Greer Community.
History Founded in 1937, our Chamber has a long history of promoting the economic and social development of our region. Our first President, J. S. Paget, envisioned us as a voice for Greer's industrial and agricultural sectors. In 1983, we became the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce to reflect our expanded scope and influence. Today, we continue to share the success stories of Greer and its thriving business community. Region We proudly serve the two-county region encompassing Greer, both Greenville and Spartanburg Counties, with numerous partnerships across the region. Greater Greer prides itself in offering diverse opportunities for business and industry, supported by robust infrastructure. With access to major interstates (I-85 and I-29), a regional rail system, Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP), and several nationally recognized universities, the greater Greer area is positioned for lasting growth and continued success. Governance As a non-profit 501 C(6) membership organization, our Chamber is governed by a diverse Board of Directors.
