Power Kids Fitness

Due to our level of working with children, we’ve had to close our doors but unfortunately that does not stop the bills. Our biggest worry is our organization having to permanently shut our doors. With us being a smaller and newer nonprofit with a brand new location, we survive on our community’s help. Visit their Facebook page to learn more on how you can help.

 

Daily Bread Ministries/Greer Soup Kitchen

Open- 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Addressing hunger, hygiene, supplies for home when needed, Children Meals on the weekends when the school districts are not providing meals.

Needs: to go boxes, tissue inserts, forks, spoons, napkin packs, diced tomatoes, fruit cups. 

Donations can be brought to Daily Bread Ministries- 521 E. Poinsett Street, Greer

 

Greer Community Ministries

Open- 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Greer Community Ministries is are still delivering Meals on Wheels lunches to 310 of our community's vulnerable elderly citizens. Their food pantry is also open 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.

Needs: volunteers to help deliver Meals on Wheels, canned goods and non-perishable items and financial assistance.

Donations can be brought to the Ministry at 738 S. Line Street Extension. Please call 864-877-1937 to volunteer, or take their challenge of donating your typical lunch or coffee out here.

 

Greer Relief & Resources Agency

Serving the Public: Monday- Friday 9am-11am | Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 1:30pm- 4:00pm

Greer Relief and Resources Agency is asking for neighbors to first call, (864) 848-5355 x1, for details on assistance. Food assistance is available for residents of Greer, Taylors, Duncan, Lyman & Wellford. Utility assistance specific to this crisis has allowed us to temporarily expanded our service area, Greer, Taylors, Duncan, Lyman & Wellford, to include all Greer CPW customers and Startex. This expanded service area will last as long as funds permit. A completed application, photo id, and utility bill. Regular financial assistance is still available on a limited contact basis. Needs: financial donations and food- breakfast items (cereal, oatmeal, grits), rice, peanut butter, soups, spaghetti o's, flour, salt & sugar.
