Program Objectives:
Educate children about healthy eating: Provide interactive lessons on the benefits of fruits, vegetables, and balanced nutrition, while encouraging kids to explore new foods.
Engage children with fresh, local produce: Create opportunities for children to engage with farm-fresh produce directly by offering them a $5 voucher to purchase any fruit of their choice at Greer Farmers Market.
Promote active lifestyles: Teach children simple, fun exercises and activities that promote physical health, encouraging them to stay active and make exercise a regular part of their lives.
Foster long-term healthy habits: Encourage children to take their new knowledge and apply it in their daily lives, cultivating habits that support lifelong health and wellness.
