​The Platform at Greer helps fight those feelings of isolation by connecting founders with their people. Our community is full of trailblazers, problem solvers, and inspirational leaders. The Platform is an initiative of Greer, but you don't have to live or work in Greer to get on board. We welcome your business, but the goal is to grow Greer into an innovation hub where founders from all over the state come to find support, resources, and inspiration.

Why is this initiative called The Platform at Greer?

​The Platform at Greer name is a nod to the railroads that have moved commerce through our city for more than a century. Greer's economy grew up around what is now known as the Historic Greer Depot which originally served as both a launching point and a destination. The Platform at Greer exists to help entrepreneurs at any stage of their journey.

Bootcamp

​For founders looking to alleviate a pain point, get market validation, and learn long-term innovation strategies. This selective two-day workshop is designed to accelerate start-ups and small businesses.

​Curriculum Highlights:

• Market validation: uncover pain points and willingness to pay
• Expert-led workshops on business fundamentals
• Personalized, hands-on guidance throughout
• Crafting and practicing a polished pitch

​Final Pitch: Present your pitch to a panel of judges and innovative leaders.

Cost: $350
Time: Two full days.
Materials: Laptop recommended.
Cohorts in both the Spring and Fall.

Huddle

​For founders at any stage wanting to leverage expert advice, connect, and find community. The first Thursday of each month, we host free networking for entrepreneurs and innovators.

Cost: Free.
When: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. First Thursday every month.
Where: Typically, Greer City Hall, located at 301 E. Poinsett St., Greer, SC.
Past Topics: Leadership skills, financing, product development, diversity, start-up support, venture capital.​
